Our Operations
Akademiska Sjukhuset has created a new management organization consisting of six areas that gather all of the hospital's operational areas. To achieve a clearer nursing perspective, nursing leaders will be introduced within the hospital's areas. At the area level, area management groups will be established where nursing leaders will be included, as part of strengthening the nursing perspective at all decision-making levels.
Your Mission
Your mission as a nursing leader (OVL) is to lead the development of evidence-based and person-centered nursing in Area 6 (psychiatry) in collaboration with the rest of the management organization and employees. As we work to process our operations based on our clinical care flows, you will be an important person regarding the development of the nursing perspective.
You will collaborate at the hospital-wide level with the chief nurse and other nursing leaders and support the area manager in nursing issues. You will be part of the area's management group and represent the nursing perspective but also work for the overall area based on your role. You will monitor and develop structures for research and education within nursing and will be appointed to the FoUU council in the area as needed and collaborate with the central FoUU council as necessary. In your role, you will coordinate and develop work to ensure high quality in the clinical education of nursing programs and specialist nursing programs (VFU) in the area. You will participate in the work with the hospital's governing documents for nursing and nursing competence, as well as the FoUU strategy for nursing science and other relevant scientific areas.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a PhD in psychiatric nursing or has documented competence in nursing development.
- Is a specialist nurse in psychiatry.
- Has relevant clinical competence for the assignment, as well as relevant experience in research, leadership, collaboration, and education.
- Has an established network in your field at the national and preferably international level.
Your Competence
You are analytical, action-oriented, and have an easy time collaborating interprofessionally and at different organizational levels, with the best interests of patients in focus.
We Offer
We offer a permanent position at 100% with a start date as agreed. The employment will be placed within one of the area's operational areas based on your specialty. The assignment as a nursing leader is a fixed-term appointment for 3 years with the possibility of extension.
The assignment as a nursing leader has a working degree of 50% at the area level, but the extent can be discussed. Your clinical part is 50% or equivalent, within one of the operational areas included in area 6. The extent and content will be planned in consultation with the area manager, development manager, and the department manager who will be the immediate supervisor with responsibility for the work environment. Individual salary setting applies.
